Is it all planned?

Tuesday, January 21st, 2014

QUESTION: Masters, I would very much like to know that if we have free will and lessons to learn, it seemed to me my life was already mapped out. Would you be kind enough to explain to me, why when I was young I visited an excellent clairvoyant and he told me things that came true in my life over the years, from illness, to children and other things. How is this so please? ~Trish, England

ANSWER: Your life was mapped out, by you, before you came to be born. You spent a lot of time with your Council of Advisors discussing just what lessons you wished to undertake in this lifetime. You made some contracts with other souls who had chosen, for their learning, to be on Earth at the same time. These agreements were so that you would be able to have the setting within which to go through the type of lesson you wished.

All this pre-planning gave you an outline of things that would appear in your life, but not a blow-by-blow description of how they would play out or what the final result would be. It is like an American football game. You know each team will have eleven players on the field and that each player has an assigned position and job. You do not know how each will match up with the opposing members of the opposite team, and absolutely no idea how the whole game will be played.

When you visited someone who had the ability to sense the unconscious thoughts that contained this proposed outline of your life, he was able to give you a description of this outline. He was reading, among other things, the contracts you had made with people (e.g., the number of children), major lessons you wanted to experience (e.g., illnesses), and the general outline for your time here.

Not all plans come to fruition. You have complete freedom of choice to change your plans at any time. Some of the ideas that were revealed to you seemed so much in agreement with what felt right to you that you consciously then put them into reality. A soul has a totally creative ability to manifest that which it thinks about and wishes to experience.

You may continue to fulfill your pre-planning or decide to go off in another direction from here – you are driving the automobile.

Discerning relationships

QUESTION: Masters, I became involved with my spiritual teacher of 10 years. For the first three years we were both not free to be fully with each other due to other life contracts. These 3 years of dealings were not clean dealings and distrust and resentment grew. We were together for 3 more years and the distrust, resentment and now it seems even vengeance became negatively entwined. We have ended living together. Each time I have visited my part in this negative creation I apologize. Even though we ended it, I am getting the sense that we still have more work to do together. I wish to leave this life clean with this person and do what needs to be done but do not want to continue negative, harmful dealings. How do I determine if it is actually work and not my shadow self that wishes to create more conflict and negativity? ~Monique, USA

ANSWER: Humans who are on a spiritual path to enlightenment become sensitive to the intense energy of those who have the knowledge and ability to reach out into the universe. When you began working with this teacher, he felt like a shining star with incredible positive energy because you were coming from the basic third-dimensional ego judgment where negativity is the default setting.

Teachers only show you their best, most desired attributes when you first start working with them so that you will stay around and continue with them instead of seeking out another. In a romantic relationship your partner definitely starts with what he/she thinks you want. When you are not fully invested in the partnership it is easy to hide those things which might otherwise scare you away.

Discernment is the spiritual principle of taking apart the actions and events in your life and seeing what lessons are hidden inside. The sense you are getting that there is still something you have to do with this relationship is true. You have not figured out why you have such intense feelings about this perception of distrust, betrayal, resentment, and vengeance. These are all your lessons, which you have not understood completely.

You do not need to have any more “face time” with this man. You merely need to go into the fears, doubts, and strong reactions your time together has fostered. You are too fast to always apologize and take the blame for things. You should stop and look and see if, in fact, there is anything for which you should apologize.

The driving force behind your current feelings is a sense that unfinished work remains. Start on that understanding a little at a time. Whenever you sense any of those strong emotions, ask yourself why they are present. Some of the things that happened between you and this person were there to trigger lessons from prior lives. The work now is a solo job.

Is God insensitive to suffering?

Tuesday, January 21st, 2014

QUESTION: Masters, I was thinking something, in these last days, about how God views human suffering; since he has no ego to judge good and evil, right and wrong, I wonder that he is insensitive to the suffering and despair of people and animals. How I can change your mind about that? ~Italo, Brasil

ANSWER: Your question is interesting to us because you blend human needs and desires with spiritual unconditionally loving energy. The term “god” refers to a singular persona generally associated with organized religion, which is based upon judgmental belief systems that exist only on your planet. Source – which encompasses us, you as your spiritual essence, and all beings not in the duality of Earth – is nothing but unconditionally loving energy.

Souls go to Earth to experience negative emotions and physical events because it is the only place where such activities occur. They are aware that they can learn about freedom of choice only by being in a situation where they learn to recognize negativity for what it is and choose to turn it into positive energy.

Source, as you state, does not judge what a soul may decide to experience for itself. All enlightened persons acknowledge that each soul makes its own choices for lessons. Many tests must include suffering, degradation, self-doubt, and any negative human emotional disruption. That is how people know they are in the midst of a lesson and need to understand it so they may work through it and learn from their decisions.

Those in unconditional love are not insensitive to others but rather cheer on their choices and the trials undergone to gain awareness. You should honor these souls for the difficult human things they have chosen. Without going through such incarnational “tough” times, souls cannot appreciate their own magnificence when not caught up in the duality of Earth.
