QUESTION: Masters, medical marijuana seems to be making its way to the forefront to help ease seizures along with many other devastating diseases. There have been stories of miraculous healing in the USA and, at the same time, stories are emerging from Australia. Is there one best part of the plant used to treat epilepsy? And, which part will best treat my daughter? ~Diane, USA

ANSWER: Many studies are ongoing and have had various results on patients. Each person is differently affected by all chemical substances. Just as patients are not all improved by the usual medicines for epilepsy, the same is true about various forms of marijuana.

Druggies smoke marijuana for its intoxicating effects from the chemical THC. Some epilepsy sufferers have found this substance minimizes their seizures. Most find that the other major chemical in some varieties of marijuana, cannabidiol (CBD), which is non psychoactive, is the substance from which most relief is being obtained. It has the further advantage of not giving the subject the sensation of being high – very desirable for one wanting only a medicinal benefit.

It is difficult to find CBD-rich marijuana since at the present time it is sought only by epilepsy sufferers. The oil distilled from this plant is the one that would prove most beneficial to your daughter. Many hospitals are conducting studies using marijuana and are looking for patients to participate. Ask around and you may be able to enroll your daughter in such a study.

There is an organization out of Colorado run by six brothers who have a license to raise medical marijuana. They have a variety called Charlotte’s Web, named after the first child epilepsy patient for whom they provided oil from their marijuana. Her seizures are now very minimal.

Living as a gay person

QUESTION: Masters, I’m a 43 years old gay from Finland. I’m hoping to find my life partner. Why here earth have to be so strong and so much own power? What I do when guys come and there’s resonance but they are married? Why spiritual people and universe don’t speak sexuality? Okay it’s my learning it’s really tough for me. I have to take responsibility for that but how? What is my main learning topic here? To love myself? Yeah, I know that but can you give me some exact knowledge how I really love myself and take responsible action because people don’t tolerate my gay world, ~Markku, Finland

ANSWER: Earth is a duality, and it is controlled by a belief system that says everything must be judged by the ego to determine its value. Souls come to Earth to learn to understand and use their essential powers from being a piece of Source. All humans are all powerful, all magnificent, all knowing, and all creative, but they don’t know it as they enter their bodies with amnesia.

Once on Earth, souls work on the pre-selected lessons they wished to explore. The first purpose is to discover who they are (souls) and what abilities they can use to experience this life. As you mentioned, the main turning point in life is when you learn to love yourself. You don’t have to love everything you chose to experience, but just love the fact that you undertook the journey in the first place.

Once you accept and love your potential, you then work toward manifesting the lessons. They will be apparent by the fears and doubts that present themselves. Being gay was a choice you made because you had decided to experience bigotry, hatred, and ambiguity. You also wanted to find the power within yourself to ignore the judgment of others and accept the love within.

Until you love yourself, you will be unable to love and share a life with another. It is easy from a distance to pick a person you think you might be happy with, but that is not how relationships exist. They must be mutual. Similarly, it is easy to dream of having a powerful car or a magnificent mansion, but it is not possible unless you have the means.

To manifest something, you have to have faith in yourself and the ability to tell yourself you deserve it. You then have to bring a person into your life who fits the parameters – in your case, single, gay, and looking for a relationship. Concentrate on the qualities and send the message out into the universe.

Matching physical and spiritual

QUESTION: Masters, I believe you can feel my frustrations for having to deal with same recurring issues. No matter what I do, the results of my actions are short-lived. Even when I feel grateful for the positive effects of my health, immediately the next day or week, it is back to square one. I have no idea why I am starting to lose so much of hair despite going for treatments and unable to gain weight and recover loss of muscles despite various Ayurveda remedies. I am only 24 years old and I know that ageing is an inevitable part of life but what I am experiencing is rapid. I am trying my best but nothing seems to work and it is just scary to feel like my body itself is a disease. How can I manage my health issues or why am I even experiencing these issues? ~Vaishnavee, Singapore

ANSWER: Achieving a goal does not make it definite that you will always be able to enjoy that place – unless you continue to do what you had to perform to accomplish the goal. Once you visualize and manifest the release of an issue, it will reappear unless you continue to work at seeing yourself free of the problem. The results being short-lived means only that you slip back into old belief patterns or forget completely about the work you have done.

You have been slipping away from self-love and back into a victim mentality where you easily accept the “poor me” label. The things into which you are putting most of your thoughts and fears are the energies the universe thinks you wish to experience. When you identify with a condition, you unconsciously accept that it is supposed to be there.

Start using affirmations about your perfect health, your fantastic physical condition, and magnificent hair. Take responsibility for your health – don’t pass the blame off to practitioners. See each treatment as a step in perfecting your affirmations.

Don’t see your body as a disease. See your body as out of ease and needing to be brought back into balance. Rid your energy of the panic you have allowed in and find a mental, emotional, spiritual place where you can charge all your physical areas back into balance.

Live in the now and address each sensation as it appears. Find where it came from and why it is there. Your attitude toward each test determines the result.
