Twin flames
Friday, September 28th, 2007Q. Masters, there is a person at work to whom I am drawn. The first time we sat down and talked we went on for hours and found we have the same interests and ideas about almost everything. Is this person my twin flame?
A. Happy One, first we need to make clear the difference between twin flames and soul mates. Twin flames are like Siamese twins. Let us explain that statement. The last division that occurred as Source was creating you as an individual soul took place between you and the energy known as your “twin flame.” It is the only soul who can make you feel complete, because it was once an intimate part of you. If both you and your twin flame are in body form at the same time and meet each other, you will immediately seek to spend all your time together because you feel whole for the first time.
Soul mates are all the souls who were created as individuals about the same moment as you. They can number as many as 144 souls. Think of an extended family tree: These souls would be your parents, grandparents, siblings, and cousins if you all were to incarnate at the same time. These are the souls with whom you make your most important contracts before you incarnate. You trust your soul mates with ensuring that you will experience exactly what you chose. These are not just immediate human family members and spouses, but also that teacher who influenced your career path, or the drunk driver who handicapped you so that you might experience helplessness. The soul mates with whom you regularly interact number between 12 and 36 souls.
Because you frequently spend time on Earth with these same souls during different incarnations, whenever you meet one of them, immediately he or she will seem familiar to you. Your co-worker may be a soul mate and you are both having memories of the past and also seeing how similar you are in the present. Be aware of this contact. See where it can lead you and what adventures together it brings you. Enjoy!
