When desire conflicts with lessons

Friday, October 17th, 2008

QUESTION: Masters, I realize entire books have been written on manifestation, but if you could boil down the mechanics of creating our own realities to a few paragraphs, what would that be? Some of us have been reading channeled material for years and applying it to our lives, yet still are not totally living the realities we prefer. So please answer this in a general way or, if you’d like, specific to me.

ANSWER: The human experience has many phases. It begins with contracts made before incarnation concerning what particular lessons you wish to learn during your lifetime. That is the first layer of intention concerning the reality you may create and is mostly hidden from your consciousness. Once involved in a human life, you have freedom of choice as to the specific mechanics you use to create your reality. Your underlying intention is almost always to experience the highest and greatest good in your search for knowledge. This may match a third-dimensional (earthly) view of prosperity, or it may be the exact opposite. If your lesson is to deal with a condition of want, no amount of intention is sufficient to create any other reality. You will not be able to manifest prosperity until, first, you have come to appreciate and understand why you needed the energy of want.

If your life plan calls for you to learn your own power and self-worth, you must do that before you can manifest the ability to create your reality unhindered. Once that lesson is learned, you can visualize your intention with total faith and confidence in success in order to fulfill your desire. There is a universal law that you draw to yourself whatever you need to experience, so it is very important that you monitor your doubts and fears because their energy will return to you as the manifestation of those same doubts and fears.

The simplest way to a desired reality is to see it before you with the intention of achieving this or something greater. Let go of the absolute need to have things exactly as you think you want them (an expectation that limits the possibilities). Set aside your (ego) judgment about what is happening, and go with the flow of the universe. With no interfering pre-incarnation intentions, or present-life doubts, fears, or limiting needs, you will see your reality materializing.

Market crash

QUESTION: Masters, I am an investment manager for a number of people. With the current crash in the market I feel that I am in the wrong business. I weep for my clients and the losses they have suffered, and I am not sure what I can or should do. Can you give me some advice?

ANSWER: The entire world financial market is undergoing a readjustment based upon third-dimensional (earthly) reality. What has happened to your clients’ funds is the result of thousands of variables over which you had absolutely no control. Your clients entered into the financial scene to make money, and just as in any other business, there is no guarantee that gains will occur. Your market is famous for warning investors that “past performance is no guarantee of future return.” For the moment, chances of success are not unlike those of winning the lottery.

You read the market correctly to anticipate trends based upon past performance. You were not careless or reckless with your accounts. Just as a landlord cannot be held responsible to his tenant for the loss of use of his rental property due to a tornado or fire, you have no responsibility for the resulting disaster.

Your future will be dictated by your freedom of choice. It is natural for any caring individual to feel sympathy for those who have lost goods, money, or property through no fault of their own. The market will stabilize and begin to recover. The timing of this will depend on all the same forces that precipitated the crash. All investors will need agents with cool heads to assist them.

Use this situation as a lesson in the illusion of control. As much as you might believe you are in control of events, in your case buying and selling what you thought would produce the best returns, you have absolutely no control over the millions of other investors, companies, and government agencies that influence the market. No one thing controls the trend.

Go with the flow, and continue to observe and learn.

Multi-life lessons

QUESTION: Masters, you have said that it is very rare for a soul, after experiencing a violent death, to hop from one body straight into another body. Professor Ian Stevenson has recorded many cases of a soul coming back to the same family or tribe, and sometimes being born with birthmarks which strongly suggest wounds or deformities that belonged to the deceased person. How common is this and why does it happen?

ANSWER: Some soul groups create extremely complicated life lessons with other members of their group. These lessons may take several generations or human life cycles to complete. After the first physical death the soul may choose to honor its commitment to a soul mate by coming back into the human family almost immediately to continue the lesson.

Generally you will find these family soul groups in areas where the society has limited or no interaction with the rest of the people on the planet. In this way, the reincarnated soul may come back with amnesia, but there are many soul mates around who assist the infant in getting right back to the business at hand, the completion of the contract.

In most of these cases the turn-around time for reincarnation is shorter than average because the window of opportunity, the life range of the other parties, is short. Generally the soul will even come back into the same family as a sibling, grandchild, niece, or nephew. Because these continuances must occur during the duration of someone’s physical lifespan, frequently the soul’s initial life is terminated abruptly by accident, murder, suicide, or illness.

The energetic intensity of these uncompleted contracts carries over from one life to another, resulting in the recorded birthmarks, physical deformities, and even sensory deprivations such as blindness or deafness. One of the causes is that the soul has not had the time to integrate the energy needed to understand the wisdom behind the activity (being killed, maimed, or dealing with these deformities) before coming back. These are residuals and reminders carried to assist the soul in getting right back into the interrupted lesson. Some of these lessons are for the benefit of the returning soul and some for the soul that remained. This sequence of events does not happen very frequently.
