Animals and humans

QUESTION: Masters, I have and have had horses, dogs and cats. They are my companions and confidants. I often wonder do they have a life’s plan. Do they come to learn and how does this link in with or compare to ours? I also had a horse I sold a number of years ago and didn’t consider its feelings. I often wonder how she is and how she felt about this and coped. I’m guessing this is all part of my learning as I took from this and considered it when re-homing another horse; however it nags at me how she felt. Hoping you can help me understand. ~Samantha, UK

ANSWER: Most animals are animated by a spark of life energy originating from Source. They do not have souls and therefore no elaborate plans for a lifetime on Earth. They are/were created to assist you humans with your life lessons. A few souls have decided to have the experience of living within an animal body instead of a human body so they might experience the peculiar characteristics they never could have in a human body. This is rare, only about one to two percent of all souls.

Most animals have specific reasons for existing—mostly to be of service to humans. Horses for working and riding get into a pattern of what is expected of them, or trained as you call it, and just instinctively go about their daily life without thinking of anything else. They will show their appreciation for a carrot or sugar cube.

The horse that you sold easily adapted to her new life and went on to have a very happy life. She was treated well and found friends with whom to interact. You have a tendency to want to give human perspective to your animals, and they do not have that capability. It is part of your life lesson to learn to deal with your sense of compassion. It is easier for you with animals than with humans.

Each species of animal has different characteristics. Your cats want to have their needs provided for but also want their independence. Your dogs have a need to know that they are pleasing you and that you will show them the affection they crave. Your horses want to be cared for, to be able to run, and to show off to you and the other horses.

Humans are much more complicated. You set yourself up to have experiences from which you can learn things about yourself. All the thoughts that have come to you concerning your animals talk about qualities in the human existence that you seek to understand. Loyalty, compassion, caring and sharing, responsibility, fairness, and thoughtfulness are all important to you. Ask how your feelings about the animals relate to your feelings about other humans. Those are your lessons.

Dreams and symbols

QUESTION: Masters, I had a dream about my grandmother who recently passed away. In my dream I saw her escorted by two other beings with glowing white light. She seemed to be glowing partially. We had some kind of discussion before they left but I couldn’t recall what it was about. This was unusual as I used to recall communications such as this or otherwise I have no recall of an occurrence at all. Then there was a black snake which I felt like an old friend. Masters, I wish to know who those two other entities are and what was actually discussed? Could you share some information on what has happened? How am I related to the snake? ~Suffian, Malaysia

ANSWER: You observed your grandmother with two of her guides who met her when she transitioned and were assisting her with her acclimation back into unconditional love. All souls need a period of time to get comfortable with leaving the heavy physicality of Earth behind and floating in the lightness of a lack of judgment and ego. Their glow was purity; her glow showed she still had some slight negativity clinging to her. It is all gone now.

The conversation had to deal with her good-byes and wishes for you to go on with your life’s journey. She was saying she would be around in a bit to advise you if and when you needed her. She also wanted you to know you had all the strength required to complete your tasks. Your unconscious remembers word for word; your consciousness didn’t need to have the knowledge.

The snake is the symbol of death and rebirth. It is familiar because you have gone through the process many, many times. It is the representation of healing and resurrection. Snakes are a part of the medical caduceus that doctors have used since early Greek physicians to let others know of their skills. You have a little bit of healing to do with your thoughts about your grandmother and death in general.

The snake came to you to let you know this was a planned death and to remind you that it only involved the physical body because the soul never dies. It will rise and have another Earthly experience when it is ready.

Spiritual changes and physical awareness

QUESTION: Masters, this past winter I was meditating a lot and my chakras were spinning all the time and I felt this energy in my head that felt like a rod going in. I felt dizzy, happy, peaceful and very connected to everything. Then it goes away and I am not sure what is happening and how I can maintain it. I don’t want it to go away! ~Stacey, USA

ANSWER: As people awaken to a realization of the essential energy of which they are composed, the sensations the physical body feels are dynamic. Meditating to enter into the energy of the universe makes you aware of the energy circulating throughout your body. The same effect occurs if you do Yoga, Tai Chi, Qigong, or any practice that quiets the mind to allow the soul to be heard.

You first become aware of the continual flow through the body. You sense that there are centers of energy directing this flow, known as the chakras. You feel that the chakras will speed the energy along if they are circulating or spinning in the proper direction and synchronously with each other. With your intention you can direct and stabilize this activity.

Once everything is flawlessly operating, an energy arises out of the bottom or root chakra and makes its way up to the top or crown chakra. This is the kundalini energy. This is a powerful force and may feel like a blast or even a bomb going off inside the body. The overall feeling is of peace, tranquility, and a connection to the whole universe.

Once you have achieved this milestone it never really goes away. What happens is that your body gets used to the feel of this power and adapts to its presence. You have that powerful sensation if you open to it but not the buildup you felt getting there. It is like when the seasons change. As it starts getting colder each year you shiver, stay inside more, turn up the heater, and pile on clothing. As the season goes on your body gets used to the cold and you find yourself going outside with your coat open and enjoying the brisk feel of the wind.

Your body has acclimated to the presence of the additional energy so you no longer sense that which is there. In the process of enlightenment you can’t go backwards. Once something has occurred you can’t undo the event. Once you know something, you don’t unknow it—that is similar to your process. You completed the awakening of the kundalini and it is there, but it is now subtle because your body accepts it.

If you do any type of meditative process your contact will be instantaneous with your soul—if you don’t sabotage it by denying it is there. Throw out your expectations of what you think should be and accept what is!
