Climate changes

QUESTION: Masters, climate change is causing global warming and it is all due to the way we live our lives-raising and killing of animals for food. The karmic energies from the killing of animals for food have been condensed for many countless years. It has now reached a point of destruction to our entire planet Earth. The only way to save the planet is to make good karma: Be Loving! Be Veg! Go Green! What is your mind? Please elaborate.           ~Melvin, Singapore

ANSWER: We concur that the production of food for the masses does impact the climate of your planet. However, it is not just the production of the animal products that has this effect, but also some of the techniques used in farming grain, fruits, and vegetables.

“Karma”, as you are using the term here, meaning punishment, does not have anything to do with what is occurring on your planet. The planet is going through a cyclic transition caused by the position of the planet in the heavens, the natural periodic changes of the planet itself, and the influence of the other planets and celestial bodies in your Universe.

There are more volcanoes spewing carbon dioxide into the atmosphere and oceans than is produced by the automobiles and factories. The melting of the polar icecaps is partially caused by the volcanic activity miles beneath the surface of the Arctic and Antarctic oceans, which is raising the temperature of the water. The current recent decrease in the average temperature currently taking place all over the world, with an increase in snow and precipitation, is the result of the lessening of eruptions from the surface of your sun.

We agree with you that being gentler on Mother Earth will help the destruction which is taking place. Sending energy to the Earth to help it counter some of the effects taking place will slow the process and possibly start to reverse it. Being conscious of the methods used to produce all food sources is a very important first step.

Outgrowing your teacher

QUESTION: Masters, recently our group did some public service. A few of us joined in the team at the last moment as we were unable to commit earlier due to work. The “reward” we got was unnecessary remarks telling us that we were the uncommitted ones, being there at the last minute just so that we could get the exposure and experience. I am now at a crossroad. I have been following this particular teacher for the past 4 years and recently am feeling a bit “out of sorts” in terms of his teaching, including unfair judgments handed down to his students. My heart tells me to move on, but the reluctance to move on is still playing in my head. Please give me a sign on what would be best for my highest good.       ~Joyce, Malaysia

ANSWER: The best always for your highest and greatest good is to honor yourself. It is possible with any teacher to reach a point of incompatibility with his student.

All souls in human form are subject to the influences of the third dimension, regardless of where they are on their spiritual path. People living on planet Earth are constantly exposed to ego-based judgment, and even if they had learned the lesson once, when tested they may fall back and become judgmental.

When it comes to finding the appropriate spiritual teacher for yourself, you must understand that one size does not fit all. Once you start studying with someone and advance your knowledge, you may need to move on to another who can allow you to continue to progress in a different manner. Whenever you find yourself uncomfortable it is because your internal sensors-your own essence-are telling you that this is not where you need to be.

Someone who has been important in your life for as long as four years is like a comfortable pair of well-broken-in shoes. You hesitate to discard them, even if they are worn out, because they have meant so much in the past. Since they are in disrepair they will only impede your progress if you still insist on wearing them.

Channeling a “living person”

QUESTION: Masters, can a channeler channel the spirit of a person who is still living? If so, how is that done, and can it be used for helping the living person to learn more about life’s lessons? If not, why not?   ~Lambert, USA

ANSWER: There are two aspects to your question. First, can a channeler talk to a facet of a soul while the focus of that soul is in a physical body? Under some circumstances, yes. Second, is it possible for a channeler to talk to the soul of a person in order for that person’s conscious mind to learn about the soul’s past and therefore understand what its current lessons are and why those particular lessons were chosen? No.

A channeler talking to an aspect of a soul currently involved in a physical life can only communicate with that person’s higher self or unconscious memory. This can occur only with the permission of the soul because each soul has total freedom of choice concerning its essence.

The most common example of this kind of communication is a healer wishing to send healing to an incapacitated person from whom permission cannot be obtained directly. The channeler can then ask the patient’s soul if it is all right for the healer to send energy to rebalance the body. If permission is not obtained, the healer is wasting time in sending energy because that energy cannot intervene without permission.

In the second scenario the soul came down to Earth with amnesia to learn lessons in the flesh. Had it wanted to have a memory of the why and wherefore of its lessons, it would have allowed itself to remember. This is a situation in which people may choose to engage in hypnotherapy to work through those lessons they have not completed or are having difficulty finishing.
