QUESTION: Dear Masters, I am having trouble deciding whether it is important to vaccinate my son against childhood diseases. There is a lot of pressure to do this in order to protect him, and to protect others who may also be vulnerable-with the goal of eventually eradicating such diseases. However, my gut feeling is that perhaps this is doing him more harm than good-that maybe other diseases will take the place of the ones we eradicate, and that, in fact, we should trust our children’s innate ability to heal and to fight such diseases should they contract them. Is it the case that if they contract a disease in a very harmful way, this was something they/we may have chosen as a learning experience?

ANSWER: You chose to be in a world that revolves around fear. People see a conspiracy, a bogeyman behind every tree, and a threat in every stranger they pass. Viruses and bacteria have existed since the planet began to have life. When human beings came along some microorganisms chose them as hosts. Modern medicine has eradicated thousands of these parasitic organisms, but they are resilient and many have mutated. A struggle to be the fittest is standard protocol.

There is a potential for reaction when you introduce into a body the live or dead remnants of a virulent disease. If the body does not react to the substance itself it can react to the carrier solution, a contaminant contained therein, or something introduced accidentally along the way during the administration of the injection.

Where does the soul fit into all of this? The soul chooses what experiences it wants to have in any lifetime. For example, some souls wished to witness the black plague, but not as participants, so they stood in the midst of the devastation unscathed.

As of this time, your son has not chosen to experience any communicable disease of a devastating nature. We say “as of this time,” because he has chosen his desired lessons but not the exact factors enabling their completion.

Considering all of this, you must also consider the belief systems of people in your current society. If, to partake of the benefits available from them, you must comply with their fear-based requirements (e.g., vaccinations), your choice is to withdraw from the benefits they can provide or to comply with their demands.

You are correct in your statement that your son holds the keys to his own experiences. Vaccination or not, he will go through what he must for his learning.

QUESTION: Masters, how do you send someone a message regarding unfinished Earthly business (the result of a spiritual bond) if they are unreceptive to you, but your soul is urging you on to talk to them?

ANSWER: Each soul has chosen its own pathway in its incarnation. You have made contracts with a number of souls to help you learn the lessons that you chose for this lifetime. When you all entered into your bodies you did so with amnesia as to the desired experiences for this life.

Sometimes, during the process of fulfilling your plans, you remember some of the details. This may occur on occasion when you see the body of the soul with whom you made the contract. Energetically you may sense a need to confer about your life with someone who thinks you are crazy because they do not have the memory that has now become available to you.

Just as you cannot get people to change their mind unless they are willing to be open to your ideas, it is impossible to get them to even listen to you if they are not so inclined. Souls progress through their lessons at different rates of speed, so even if others started at the same time as you, they may not have matched your advancement and learning pace.

If you cannot get the physical vessel to respond to your urging to confer, send a message through your thoughts to the other’s higher self explaining the situation and what you are attempting to accomplish. The higher self may be able to notify the person’s conscious mind that you are making an attempt to complete a contract, but don’t be surprised if the conscious mind ignores its own unconscious mind as well.

If after making all attempts you are unsuccessful, just let the matter drop. The energy is in the air. When-and if-the other is ready to talk, that soul will know where to reach you.

QUESTION: This question comes from someone who sat next to Toni Winninger at a presentation in Bristol, England, and wondered about the connection between Toni and the Masters. “As I sat alongside you this evening, I wondered what your thoughts were. Could you channel my thoughts without my asking you to? How many people in the room did/could you actually channel, and is that scary for you, having all these messages going on at once? How do you cope in a roomful of people?”

ANSWER: The type of arrangement that we have with Toni is for her to be a hollow tube through which, by using her vocal abilities, we are able to communicate with souls having a physical experience.

While she has an almost unlimited ability to tap into things, her desire has always been to respect the privacy of those people with whom she comes in contact. For that reason, she does not enter the minds, thoughts, or unconsciousness of others without their request.

When not channeling, unless there is something she is actively considering, her mind is devoid of thoughts so she may receive without interference the communications directed at her. When channeling, she frequently acts as a translator and is aware of the nature of the message only as she is actually saying the words. We do sometimes create a problem for her when a number of us chime in on a subject at the same time, giving more than one perspective at once. Then she has to try to sort out the various views.

Energy is another thing entirely. Toni is able to read the energy of those around her by focusing on them, if she so chooses. She only does this when she perceives a disturbance in the positive energy of the room, which she might be able to offer assistance in balancing.

When we first began communicating with her we indiscriminately delivered messages all the time, whenever we thought about them. While not frightening her, this did cause her some concern that her life was not her own. We now only speak when a question is asked of her or there is something that she needs to know for her highest and greatest good.
