QUESTION: Masters, In the book The Disappearance of the Universe, based on A Course in Miracles, Jesus would say that God never created this universe but we did through our mind/ego by way of separation from God. The ego (demiurge) keeps the perpetuation of the universe going. The world is just an illusion, a “bad dream”, and the only way out of this “joyless place” is through forgiveness. It is pure non-dualistic teaching, only God is, and the Higher Self is our allied for returning Home. In other teachings, life is an evolutionary process, a “journey” where we have chosen to play roles of victims and persecutors. We suffered and committed atrocities for the sake of experimenting negativity. I ask myself what could be this Self who planned for us so much suffering and distress life after life, friend or foe? ~Mario, Canada

ANSWER: The perspective of every soul having a human experience is determined by their freedom of choice in deciding the belief systems by which they live their daily lives. All the world is an illusion put together by each soul to complete the lessons they choose to work on while in body.

Accepting, believing in, and living any particular religious belief or practice is within the discretion of the individual. Each author of a philosophy is expressing the beliefs in which they personally choose to exist and what has worked for them in the illusion they have constructed.

There are many, likeminded and conflicting, thoughts about human existences. You have to see which of the established theories resonates with you or if it is time to construct your own to suit your illusion. It is possible to flip back and forth between the possibilities until you feel comfortable.

Your final question is the result of an overload of other people’s beliefs concerning origin, with its cause and effect on planet Earth. The reason behind why you find yourself in your position is not as important as what you are doing right in that place. Knowing how something came about is gratifying but does not help with the nitty-gritty of working through daily life.

Some deep meditation joining with your Higher Self will provide some of the answers you seek. We can tell you the progression of the universe, but it may not resonate with your illusion at this time. Just live in the moment and go with the flow, and what you chose to experience will be brought to you.

QUESTION: Masters, could you explain why is it that different people have experienced in Past Life Regression, being the same (known) person? For example, Mary Magdalene or Jesus’ Apostle Paul? ~Mischa, France

ANSWER: All souls and Source have insatiable curiosity. Since they came into being in perfect unconditional love, they wish to find out what the opposite of perfection feels like, how it acts, and what it means. That is the purpose for the creation of a duality of positive and negative energy – so that all things are possible.

When a soul desires to answer these questions, it sets up a human existence to explore the possibilities. Usually that entails a complete human cycle from insemination through the growing stages into adulthood. If a soul just wishes to see how a single event “feels,” and if they see a soul preceding them who has had the same experience they desire, they can drop into that soul’s part and enact the event.

Consider that all events in humankind allow for certain sets of activities. Say someone has lived through the Holocaust and endured its atrocities. A soul, while examining the ultimate control of one human being over another, may wish to feel that exact set of physical emotions and distress. Since time is not linear in reality, the soul can just hop back or forward to re-visit and “live” that event.

The factual basis is that they assume the part of that actor, or actress, for the duration of the portrayal they want to have. Want to see what it was like to be Mary Magdalene during the time of the crucifixion? Or Paul during what is now called “Holy Week” ending in the resurrection? How about Charles Lindbergh as he battled across the Atlantic? Or Winston Churchill during Dunkirk? All of these are possible to an eternal soul.

These are not lives – they are incident reenactments. The soul has all the sensations of the original portrayers but is only staying for a brief period of that life. It is like an understudy going on for the main character to get experience.

QUESTION: Masters I’ve been also wondering if two souls can switch places between two human beings? Like… If there was someone named “Emma” and someone named “Harry”, could suddenly Emma have Harry’s soul and Harry Emma’s? If so, why? And if not, why? ~Siiri, Finland

ANSWER: Souls plan very carefully for their entry into a human physical body. They set up all the parameters of what they wish to experience, and they cover every aspect of the projected journey by choice. Why, after going to all that difficulty, would they just leave that body and hop into a new one that is experiencing a life about which they have chosen nothing?

Souls have total freedom of choice, so that is not to say that a body switch could not occur, but it would defeat the purpose of all the pre-planning before incarnation. If Emma sees Harry doing something that fascinates her, and she wants to try it, all she has to do is make a record of the factors and incorporate it into her next existence.

If Emma is impatient and wants to have the experience right now, she could try to talk Harry into vacating his body and life so that she might take it over. But what if Harry is in the middle of completing a lesson and doesn’t want to have to start over? He will therefore say “no” and Emma is out of luck, because she cannot force him out of his body.

What does happen on rare occasions is something called a “walk-in,” in which a soul who does not currently have a body enters another’s body. In that instance, the body is being vacated because the owner is returning Home for some reason, and the body would cease to be animated without a soul.

The “walk-in” becomes that person, with whatever family, profession, and human memories they had gathered. This is normally done because the entering soul is in a hurry and does not want to have to go through gestation, childhood, and schooling but wants to jump right to the spot the original soul has achieved.

This is rare because it doesn’t allow the new soul to design as much of the human experience as the usual process does. It also comes with the first soul’s lessons set in play, and any difficulties they had understanding and completing a lesson would direct a large portion of the new soul’s day. It is like a person who has never played rugby being put in as a player in the championship game.
