QUESTION: Is the spirit world real and if it is what proof can you give me? ~Yancy, USA. QUESTION: I don’t like this idea of Oneness that everything is one being. I hope that is not true. Please tell me what will happen with those like me after we die? We can follow our own way? ~Adrian, Romania. QUESTION: Does everyone alive now on Earth serve a purpose? Is there a reason for what’s happening now? Is this all just random? Are we all just art/entertainment? ~Novan, US.

ANSWERS: Part of Earth’s third-dimensional reality is that the human ego needs to control. It doesn’t feel it can do this unless it knows and can understand all its questions about life. This is the left side of the human brain – the analytical side – taking charge and telling the right side, the feeling emotional side, to take a hike. A spiritual path lies outside judgmental “knowingness” and relies on energy resonating with the soul.

Our first questioner is asking us, the spirit world, if we exist. Pardon us while we laugh. We are nonphysical energies who can be felt and heard by human beings if they are open to such communication, but we cannot make someone receive what we send. It is an age-old story: If you don’t believe something is possible, it will never be possible for you. Some of you have a saying: You can lead a horse to water, but you cannot make him drink.

We cannot give you physical proof of a nonphysical energy; you will have that only when you join us in this realm. However, you accept the existence of a number of things that cannot be physically proven. Prove to us that love exists. Prove to us that electricity exists; you can prove it has reproducible effects upon things, but you can’t hold it in your hand or even define it except by stating its effect on nature.

Questioner #2: the idea of Oneness has many definitions and permutations. In your question you have merged several of the more common ones. There are those who believe that everything that exists is all one massive entity, split apart to experience things. Another branch of Oneness works on the principle that all souls are here on Earth for the same reason: to learn life lessons, and that if you join together you will be able to achieve success more rapidly.

Our wisdom is that all souls came from the same Source and, therefore, are composed of the same characteristics and powers. Each part then goes and has its own experiences and comes back to share its knowledge, but not to merge or melt back into a single blob. Each and every soul has its own journey with the ability to pick and choose its own way. When you return Home you have the same choices. No one is going to tell you what to do – do it your own way.

Questioner #3 could get some fast answers from our FAQ section. Your life on Earth is to be able to discover your true essence and abilities and to work through life lessons. Nothing is random; you chose all the lessons before incarnating, so that is why they are coming to you. Some do see an Earthly life as art or entertainment, but it is that for them, since they made the selections.

Living two lives as a split soul?

Tuesday, August 20th, 2013

QUESTION: Masters, last year I was dreaming that I had been in a roadside accident. I was lying on the floor and could hear voices saying they could not reach my legs. I looked up to my right and saw another car coming towards me. I closed my eyes thinking this is the end. I immediately heard the loudest authoritarian voice, which came from outside the dream saying wake now. I jumped to find myself not breathing as my tongue had fallen back into my throat and I struggle with breathing through my nose. I physically moved my tongue. I saw a shadow in the room of a grim reaper even though I would say that image is something I would not normally put any energy in to. Was this a case of living two lives as a split soul energy? ~Debbie, UK

ANSWER: The soul has a single life, which it expresses in many different roles. They all are occurring at the same time, much as a CD has all your songs on it at the same time. You understand and can work through the life lessons that gain you wisdom, your reason for coming to Earth, only where your physical consciousness focuses. It is impossible for a soul to be physically conscious in more than one place at the same time.

What confuses a lot of people is that individuals can access their akashic records, or the recording of all their various roles, through the use of hypnosis, deep meditation, or dreaming. This has a lot of people thinking that there is a consciousness in each place they have “lived.”  It is actually a movie on a reel that comes to life only when you turn your full attention to it; the rest of the time it is just sitting there.

The term “split soul” has many different definitions. We do not use that terminology in our teaching. You have just experienced how people can jump from one of their roles into another. Dreams are a way in which you can easily recall what has been worked on in the past and may have a use for you in your current life; that is why you visit that occurrence.

Dreams sometimes also add in figures and happenings from your immediate life’s experiences, such as movies, readings, and beliefs. When you see something out of the corner of your eye, particularly when returning to consciousness, your mind assigns it an identity if you don’t get a good look. Ever seen someone lurking by your home, only to discover it is a shadow from a tree, umbrella, etc.?

In search of love

QUESTION: Masters, I lived 53 years waiting for the encounter with the Love of my life. I married at 21, had three wonderful children, but did not love my ex-husband. It was a marriage very difficult for me, but thank God it’s over. Last year I met the man who made me know the true feeling of love. I loved him so much it hurt his chest. But I was forced to leave him. He had already made commitments family and I just fit in his life in the shadow. I’m not a woman to live in the shadow. Despite all this, I feel he loved me and still does. Somehow I feel that our destiny is connected. My question is: this sure is an illusion? I’m closing the doors to new opportunities real life? I pray for clarification. ~Rosali, Brazil

ANSWER: There is no absolute guarantee that souls will experience a “love of their life” in any particular lifetime. One of your life lessons has been to deal with a number of phases of love. You have seen – and rejected – marital love, excelled in familial love, and found the difficulties of tainted love.

You have delved into each type of love, worked with it, and decided what felt good to you and what was a waste of your time. Your marriage did not meet the standards you envisioned for true love, so you moved on. Your children’s love was of the highest order and you cherished their interactions with you.

When your lover appeared on the scene it was a carefree love for him, because he knew he did not intend to make it anything permanent. He played with you for his own gratification. Once you found you were not his first choice, you came out of the shadows he had made for you. You felt that type of love with no demands, and it was so different from your previous experiences that you really wanted it to last, regardless of the insincerity of the giver.

What you have felt is free love; it is not a “love of your life” sharing, totally involved, unconditional love. You want it to be more, but clinging to this experience will keep you away from new opportunities to find other types of love. He only loved the way he could control you because you sought love so severely. Learn to love yourself so that you are the center of the relationship and not just drifting along on the outside.
