The New Face of War
From George S. Patton, channeled by Toni Winninger
US General Patton was a leading figure in World War II
When I walked the world as George Patton there were understood Rules of Engagement which the combatants knew, and to which most adhered. During the last century war has taken on a new persona. It isn’t even called war anymore—it’s a policing action, or a humanitarian effort. This is a way that Big Brother (the world’s powers) takes over or interferes with the destiny of communities and even entire nations.
These world powers are making decisions for the whole planet based mostly on what they want or can get out of the conflicts they are supporting. War used to be just over the possession of land or one nation attempting to enslave another; now it is about natural resources and ideologies. Not only when I was Patton, but also when I was a Roman Legionnaire, being a soldier was a noble profession. We strove to protect the rights of the empire from any forcible takeover by another.
And what of those who prosecute these wars? Their methodology is trickery, deceit, sabotage, and terror. They don’t need to declare war. They don’t even need to have one enemy in particular. All they need is the cause they are pursuing. The major cause is fanaticism hidden inside religious fervor. In effect they are saying, “Believe as I do or you are my enemy, and I may annihilate you with hidden explosives or weapons of mass destruction and be praised for my actions.” Martyrdom is preferred as bestowing the greatest reward.
The only way these current types of conflict get resolved is for the populace to start making a noise about the number of their children who are being consumed in the fire. Since nothing is actually being won or protected for the invading country, parents and officials say, “Well that didn’t work very well; let’s bring the troops home.” The US is particularly guilty of this strong-arm tactic, and drags its allies into the mix with them so they may say they are all working for the best of the planet. Look how many countries are so concerned with how they will appear to the rest of the world—as weak or strong—that they commit their military as well.
Why cannot some countries just not leave things alone? Why do they think that every other country wants to have what they have? Democracy is not for everyone; some souls came into a situation of control to experience just that—having no freedom and learning how to deal with that situation. No one has all the answers that will solve the problems of the entire world. Get out of your ego-laced thought process and be real. Stop thinking you are the world’s savior; you aren’t! Let each soul complete its lessons unimpeded.
Discovering Reincarnation
By Peter Watson Jenkins
Seven years ago I wasn’t even interested in reincarnation. It was a Hindu sort of thing and, although I knew and liked several followers of the Hindu religion, their faith did not appeal to me. What I discovered to my surprise was that reincarnation does not have to be seen as a religious thing at all. It’s rational! If you look at a train traveling along its tracks, you don’t call it a religious experience, do you? When I look at people following their path in life, that’s not a religious thing, either—it’s life.
But doesn’t your idea include God?
Physicists say today that the universe is totally composed of energy. You may look at a computer, for example. The screen, the plastic molding, the electronic equipment inside, and even the electricity running it, are all really an illusion. That’s because every part and fragment of the computer and its fuel is composed of small molecules that in turn are composed of little atoms, all the way down to tiny energetic sub-atomic particles. Energy is everything in the universe—from hard stuff like diamonds and mountains to soft stuff like oceans and apple juice…even human thoughts! All of it is really a set of sub-atomic particles in different formations whizzing around in space creating what we perceive is physical stuff.
Did you forget that I asked you about God?
Gently, don’t get too excited! I was laying the railway lines—now for the train. Physicists are searching for sub-atomic particles, or a string or a wave of particles, that are the energetic elements that make up everything. Such an energy must have a positive quality, and be creative, not destructive. It must be the smallest, yet absolutely the most reliable, element in existence. If it were not reliable it could not be eternal, and everything would be in danger of disappearing. It must be consistent and perfect. Looked at from the physicists’ viewpoint, such an element must in fact exist to explain how everything in the universe exists.
Reincarnationists call this element “Source.” Source is perfection, the highest vibration in the energetic universe. Source is all-powerful, all-knowing, thoughtful, with limitless creative power, and found everywhere. Source has no constant form. It is a cloudlike energy within everything. We identify its pure essence as unconditional love and perfection.
Well, that sounds a bit like a God.
No. The idea of religion is that God is someone (or an entity) who or which is not us—and is totally apart from us. Religion talks the language of God’s judgment on people’s souls, and of heaven and hell. But our way of thinking sees the soul as an integral part of Source, which is in everything, and yet “broken off” from Source to have a necessary independence. We don’t use the idea of divinity (the essence of god) when talking about Source, but we do conclude that the soul is also eternal because, like a droplet of water in an ocean wave, it is both individual (like sea spray) and within the universal energy (like the ocean). Souls are therefore concurrently both individuals and part of the whole.
But if Source is unconditionally loving, why aren’t people, also?
The loving soul is a necessary element in human life. If the soul is not present in the human body, the human being dies at once. That is an energetic necessity. Souls come down to planet Earth for a purpose that is designed by Source. They appear on the stage of the world like actors in a play. As that play (the human lifetime) progresses, the actor may play many roles, some loving but also some negative. Source is perfect, but its way of assessing its own perfection is by looking in the mirror held up by souls showing the contrast between perfection and that which is less than perfect, the negativity they have experienced on Earth.
Do you mean our souls come to Earth on some kind of mission?
Precisely. We are here to discover the nature of negativity so that we may compare it with our own loving nature. We bring back this knowledge to increase the wisdom of the whole. We do this by choosing the lessons we want to learn, then incarnating (taking a body/shell) for the experience. We do this frequently over a long period of Earth time, and that process is called “reincarnation”
I’ve got a lot more questions!
I’ll be back with more in a few weeks. In the meantime, may I suggest you buy a copy of The Masters’ Reincarnation Handbook?
It’s available as a pocket booklet or as an ebook download from our Literature page. It’s very good, and word for word what they told us. Literature
