Needing assistance
QUESTION: Masters, a year ago my stepfather passed away. I considered him one of my many fathers. How can I get in touch with him? In your last response you mentioned that he’s not yet ready to communicate. Is he ready now? I’m asking, because I need to bridge a gap between believing in the Spirits’ world, and knowing it exists. My stepfather used a word, a nickname to call me while he was with us. What was it? Please help me bridge the gap. It would mean the world to me to receive this message. During the one and only channeling session I had the pleasure of experiencing, I was given some guidance as far as what my purpose here is. I’m not asking you to lay the groundwork for me in an online post, but please guide me. How do I find out the purpose, or what I’ve planned for myself? ~Patryk, USA
ANSWER: Your stepfather is all settled in at Home and sends his best. He is a little concerned that you are not confident enough in yourself and your beliefs to communicate with him on your own. This bridge between believing and knowing is a life lesson with which you chose to work. His feeling is that you want the easy way out by having someone else do the work for you. It is a little like knowing that a parachute will safely get you down to Earth when you jump out of a plane, but only wanting to watch others doing it and having too much fear to try it on your own.
The beliefs you choose to follow are a way of living. If you believe the soul continues on after it leaves the body, then it follows that you believe anyone who opens to the energy will be able to establish a connection in some way or another. You have witnessed many instances of contact and are now saying that was all fake until you have your experience in exactly the way you dictate it will occur.
With the non-physical world things do not occur in the same fashion as they do in the physical world. Spirits do not have vocal chords, so you will not hear them broadcast for themselves, although they may be able to stimulate the sound of their voice in the mind of someone who is familiar with it from their incarnate life.
Your stepfather says to be aware as you fall off to sleep and he will try to reach you. He does not feel it would be right to communicate through someone else because you would still not have your proof; you want the experience yourself but for some reason aren’t really trying to achieve it.
You were given only basic ideas about your purpose and life because you were supposed to then take that information and work to understand what you were told. You are still looking for someone else to do the majority of the work. Have an idea of what you want your future to be, and then put the energy out into the universe to bring it to you.
