Fear,ego, or intuition?

QUESTION: Masters I am in an 8 month relationship. We took a trip month 2. Here and ‘felt’ I was with the wrong person for me but I stayed in the relationship. Today I feel that I am at the end of his priority list. Again, I feel that I should walk away. I want to be honest with myself. Is this feeling to walk away fear/ego or intuition? I want to be able to distinguish the difference. ~Love, USA

ANSWER: You have a terrific need to be needed so you stay in situations where you think you will find love. You allow others to take your power of decision away from you by being their puppet. You are making your entire situation way more complicated than it really is.

Fear is dominant in your relationship. You are afraid that if you leave, you will not find someone who will spend as much time with you; the quality of the time has become immaterial. The fear comes from one of your life lessons. You came to learn self-worth and to trust your inner powers.

Ego is the controlling force of the human being. Society determines everything about everything through judgment. In classifying things as better than or less than, richer or poorer, smarter or dumber, society gives value to its members. These judgments are important to you only if you accept that all things need to be graded.

The spiritual approach to looking at a characteristic is to evaluate if it is something you would like to experience, or if it is something not needed by you. All these thoughts are the province of the mind and the recordings of what you have been told, seen from others, or read.

Intuition, or acknowledging your inner feelings, comes from within and is the essence of the soul. When you sense you should do something, whether or not your thinking process agrees, you are tapping into who you are. Using your thinking to make determinations is relying on the opinions of others.

True power comes only from relying on your intuition and what resonates with you. You have been so dependent on the thoughts of others that you feel paralyzed when it comes to making a decision. Go inside and see how the idea makes you feel (i.e., your intuition). If it feels right to you, follow it.

Lessons and beliefs

QUESTION: Masters, I’m just coming out of yet another depression and would like to know if there is anything I can do to soothe the effects of bipolar disorder I chose as a lesson for this life. I’d also appreciate any guidance on any other lessons I must pay attention to as my life has been very intense and full of so many. Sometimes I feel such longing to go back Home as Earth’s ego/duality game has worn me out. I have also read that twin flames are meant to meet in their last incarnation in order to help each other mirror last dark bits of themselves and reach complete self-realization – can you confirm this? In my heart I believe I have met mine but am currently in a relationship with someone who is most likely a soulmate. L., Estonia

ANSWER: You are managing your lessons very well. You have seen that making choices concerning the blame game for your decisions gets you nowhere, but when you accept and work through the fears and doubts, you understand what needs to be done. You are an older soul who has done this human trip many times, so you are into advanced lessons, not just minor ones.

All souls, particularly older ones, get that feeling that they want to be at Home right now. But then they realize that if they are in the middle of something, they will probably decide to come back and re-do or complete it after they go Home, so why not just stick around and finish up the current cycle.

Twin flames rarely are on the planet at the same time. There is no plan to meet during an incarnation. When the soul is in human form it has no idea whether or not it will choose to come back to Earth for another lifetime. That decision is made by each soul when it is at home reviewing what it has done and deciding if there is anything else it wishes to do.

Self-realization, or total enlightenment, is an individual thing that the soul has to complete. It does not need assistance. Suggestions may come from guides and soul mates but the work has to be done alone.

If you had met your twin flame, you would only be able to think of that person and no one else, even if you were involved with another. You would walk away from your family and strive to do everything possible to be only with your twin. You have not met your twin – who, by the way, is not even on the planet at this time.

Never satisfied

QUESTION: Masters, Recently I came across a man in my life who seemed perfect in many ways. I enjoy being with him, he is sweet and respectful but some part of me still maintains a doubt. My family also has its doubts. There are things about him which also make me loathe about furthering the relationship with him even though he sometimes seems to want to. Should I allow him a chance? Is he the person I have been waiting for all my life? Is he tricking me or just trying to take advantage of my vulnerabilities? Why is it usually so easy to be around him and I find myself telling him so many things I haven’t told anyone else? When will I finally meet the one I have been waiting for? Aquila, India

ANSWER: There is no one person who is destined to be with you. You determine who it is you want to be with and energetically draw those to you who allow you to fulfill your desires. No two humans ever match identically since each has freedom of choice to decide what to do from moment to moment. You are always changing; who you are, what you want, and what satisfies you are based upon the experiences you have.

A relationship is successful when the two parties share who they are and what their dreams are for the future. You should only listen to your inner feelings and not the thinking of family and friends. Look for a comfortable and loving connection. Since you are not identical, there will be times when you can’t stand something he is doing, but the same is being perceived by him about what you are thinking and doing.

Only you know if this is the one you have been waiting for. You are making the plans, deciding the requirements you seek, and calling the person to you. Stop putting so many obstacles in your own way. You are seeing only the aspects of him you can’t stand instead of seeing if you can work them out so you are both happy.

He loves you and enjoys being in your company. He would never do anything to hurt you. The idea you have that he is tricking you and working on your vulnerabilities does not come from inside you but from relatives who do not want you to be happy. Go with your feelings. If it feels good, see how you can make it even better. Communication is the key.
