Duality and oneness

QUESTION: Masters, you say life is an experience of duality. Does that mean the afterlife is Oneness? How can one experience anything, even unconditional love, in a Oneness? Don’t you need duality to experience anything? ~Anoop, India

ANSWER: Human life, which is lived on Earth, is a duality of positive and negative energies. Earth is the only duality and was set up so that a soul might learn lessons by experiencing situations requiring that they make a choice as to the direction those events can take them.

Soul come into human life with no idea of who or what they are. They have amnesia about being pieces of Source with infinite abilities and the power to create, know everything, and bring that power into the human existence. Their purpose in coming is to face negative lessons and see if they learn enough to choose the positive, loving options available.

The nonphysical world at Home is nothing but positive, unconditional love. The term you use of “Oneness” is deceptive since it appears to imply that everything is the same, with no differences and no variety of experiences. Since you are not learning anything while Home, just examining what you have previously experienced, you have no choices to make about your next step, so you don’t need a negative alternative to perfection.

It is difficult for the human mind to grasp this concept fully because it can’t imagine a nonphysical existence not impacted by negativity. When the soul is “free floating” in the unconditional love of Source, and is able to use all the powers at its disposal, it can be anything it desires and be anywhere it wants. It does not have to choose between two states; it merely creates what it wants, and since it is in a positive love energy, its creation is of unconditional love.

“Oneness” has sometimes been considered to be the state in which a person has rejoined with his/her soul, and all the other existing souls, and ascended into the realm of Source’s unconditional love. The soul’s journey back Home is not a transition from physical to nonphysical but rather a shedding of the covering (the body) it has been wearing, and a returning to its true form.

Earth’s mysterious treasures

QUESTION: Masters, there are so many amazing ancient mysterious monoliths around planet Earth. Perhaps you would consider writing a book explaining their origins and purposes. But until then, are there any overall similarities between any of the gigantic stone structures that seem to have been carved and lifted and placed with such incredible precision? There’s the Aswan Obelisk and the Sphinx in Egypt, Puma Punku in Tiahuanaco, the Moai heads of Easter Island, and Gornaya Shoria in Siberia, to name a few. Then there are the perfectly formed stone petrospheres in Russia, Peru, Polynesia, and New Zealand. And there are pyramids not only in Egypt but in Bosnia, Sudan, Indonesia, Korea, China, South America, Cambodia, Iran, and Iraq as well. Are they related? What was their original purpose? ~Alissa, USA

ANSWER: Since the creation of planet Earth, there have been many different civilizations on its surface. They have not all been accounted for in the historical writings of mankind. Groups of people have come, evolved throughout their history, and then disappeared – such as the Mayans, Atlanteans, ancient Egyptians – and a plethora of documented societies that just vanished: the Olmec, Mycenean, Clovis, Anasazi,  Nabatean, and Indus Valley peoples, to mention just a few.

All of these societies were humanoid, and most archeologists can document evolutionary trends from their excavated villages. When scientists have found things they cannot explain (e.g., many of those to which you have referred) using the standardly accepted procedures of verification, they just switch back to something that can be quantified and validated by them.

The first premise of all these scientists is that no civilization prior to your current one was any more technologically advanced than yours. Spoiler alert to all persons who believe Earth is the only occupied planet in your solar system: several other life forms from “out there” have visited and lived on the Earth.

Most of these peoples were more advanced than current man, evidenced by the fact that they transported themselves from their home planet to yours. They came for all different reasons. Some came to gather minerals from the planet, some to colonize a new place, some to study the evolutionary process taking place on Earth, and some out of curiosity. They entertained themselves with building things that still remain. There are those who left on their own and several who were affected by natural disasters.

Addictions

QUESTION: Masters, thank you for all your answers! I’ve been wondering why are humans drinking alcohol and using drugs? I drink alcohol and I also smoke tobacco and sometimes weed also. Who invented these and why? Is it to control people and keep us in 3D? I know that some marijuana products are used as treatment to some diseases and they help. Is that true? ~Matina, Spain

ANSWER: We would ask you why you are eating meat, sugar, processed foods, and anything unnatural. The entire third-dimensional world is set up for the purpose of learning about yourself and who you really are as a spiritual being by seeing what choices you make that affect your body.

The human body is the means by which you interact with the environment of Earth. Everything you put into the body helps you learn. You learn about nutrition, allergies, beneficial products, and destructive materials.

The soul having this human experience must ingest substances in order to see how the human body reacts to them. How do alcoholic beverages impact the physiological, mental, and/or emotional body? In some cultures fermented drinks allow for a communion with spirit. Some people need them to overcome severe inhibitions or lack of self-confidence. And there are those people who run away from living by placing themselves in a state of unconsciousness from alcohol or drugs.

Fermentation is a natural process that occurs when certain substances come in contact in the presence of heat. It wasn’t invented, just discovered. For centuries humans have experimented with the results of this process. Many different plants have been “smoked” for the resulting taste, euphoric effect, or alteration of the mood and thought process. This again was discovered through experimentation.

Marijuana comes from the hemp plant, a wild weed that was found to be useful in the making of clothing. For centuries it was used to provide bags for storage and transportation. In most cases, the psychedelic properties were discovered when wild fires ignited patches of it or scraps were thrown in the fire and the smoke was found to affect the human body.

Substances within various forms of the marijuana plant do have medicinal qualities that assist patients with side effects of drugs used to treat several conditions. Some strains have been found to affect the brains of children with seizure disorders, and most of these do not have the psychedelic properties.

All of these things to which the body may become addicted are naturally occurring. It is man himself who chooses to experiment and become dependent on them. This is frequently a life lesson chosen in order to learn to exercise freedom of choice.
