Definitions and beliefs

QUESTION: Masters, I have a doubt about the Trinity of God. For me God is our Father, Jesus His son and The Holy Spirit is the Power, the Light and energy of God that makes us live and feeds our Soul. Am I right? ~Sandra, Portugal

ANSWER: All souls living a human existence determine the parameters of their own reality via the belief systems they accept. No one can make you believe anything unless you accept it as true to you and a part of the reality by which you choose to define your life.

All organized religions have doctrines that they insist you must believe if you are to be a true member of their organization. To be an adherent, you must not question these beliefs even if they do not resonate with you. In this element of their “faith,” you have your freedom of choice stripped away from you.

Freedom of choice is the cornerstone of the soul’s spiritual journey to come into a body and learn lessons by choosing positive experiences over negative. Each soul came into existence by being broken off from Source. As such, each piece has the same powers and abilities as Source. Since Source is the origin of all, some see each soul as a son or daughter of Source.

Where you stand on these last few statements is completely up to you. Nothing is right or wrong in terms of the nonphysical spiritual world. As we always say to those who make enquiries of us, do not accept blindly anything even we say unless it feels like something that resonates with you and explains your reality.

It is intelligent to listen to what others have to say about their opinions of reality, but there is no need to thoughtlessly take their rules and make them your own unless it is truly something you desire. Always ask yourself: How do I feel about this? Is this what I feel embodies the beliefs I want to live by?

Who’s responsible for allergies?

Tuesday, June 2nd, 2015

QUESTION: Masters My son is 6 years and has severe allergies to nuts. He is so sensitive to everything – dust, cat fur and recently developed new food allergies. It has been a stressful time learning how to manage his allergies and constant illness. My teacher says he is reacting to the energy of his parents. I try to focus on the positive but I am used to him being unwell much of the time, it’s challenging to keep thinking things will improve. Is there anything we can do as parents energetically to improve his situation? Is he unwell because of our energies as parents? Are there any other healing modalities we could explore that you might suggest? I would do anything to have him well and healthy. I would be so grateful for your advice. ~Alison, Australia

ANSWER: You are dealing with a combination of lessons your son pre-planned and with lessons you and his father had chosen. In the physical realm, nothing you are doing is causing any of his problems. Your energy, when it accepts nothing can be done, is felt by him and also accepted by him. Expecting him to be unwell most of the time sets the stage for your existence and his concurrence.

In the meantime, he is comfortable with your constant attention because he rules all of your lives. You are all controlled by reactions to things that are always going to be a part of your life. You are picking and choosing what, at the time, you feel is harmless. He has no life but the activity around his problems. He needs to find something that gives him the desire to be able to get out and get around with others.

A lesson for you is that you cannot control things concerning others unless they agree. Since your son had previously chosen to experience problems with allergies, you can only sit by and restrict contact while he deals with his choice. Send him conscious unconditional love that his unconscious higher self will decide there is more to this life than the current situation.

For you, spend more effort on focusing on the positive. Find things that interest and entertain your son until he can be drawn into childhood friends and education. Any negativity can be felt by him and will hold him in his present condition. Fill your lives with positive love.

Incredible power of the mind

QUESTION: Masters, I’ve been told that my physical ailments are psychosomatic; I create them in my mind. They’re painful and the suffering is unreal. I’ve had a few chest pains and I don’t know whether to believe they’re signs of actual heart problems or if they’re also psychosomatic. Why would I do this to myself? And are these chest pains something to be concerned about? ~Lydia, USA

ANSWER: What is experienced while in a human body on Earth is chosen by all souls before they enter into the body. Once in the body, they bring to themselves that which they need in order to have those experiences.

You have repeatedly dealt with lessons concerning guilt and punishment in this and past lives. You see yourself as not worthy of being happy or pain free. You have always blamed yourself for things that have not worked out the way you desired. Once you have experienced a painful disorder, your mind has adopted it as a way to punish you for infractions.

All souls are pieces of Source energy and have the same powers and abilities of Source. One of these is the ability to create what you wish to experience. In order to create a pain-free existence, you must accept that you have the power to change things in your life.

Start with manifesting a single day or hour without pain. See in the place of pain a “love only” area around you. If the pain begins to return, ask your higher self why it is there. This will take you back to an incident in which you accepted the pain in place of the hurt that was facing you at that time. Examine the situation and see that you do not need to take the pain because you are really not at fault. Do this each time pain appears.

As uncomfortable as your pain is, you see it as a comfort zone because you know all about it. To not have the pain would be dealing with the unknown, and that terrifies you. Your conscious mind wants predictability – you find it reassuring.

The mind is very powerful. It has the ability to manufacture pain and disability as well as health and happiness. You have freedom of choice and may choose to shut out the pain and feel only the joy. This will take a concerted effort at examining all your motivations. Don’t run away from this challenge, but believe you can, know you can, and then change your life.

At this minute there is no physical reason for the chest pain except your fear. If you let it remain, it can cause a physical ailment to justify your anxiety. You can do this if you desire.
