Nothing is right or wrong

Monday, March 24th, 2008

Q. Masters, I will be graduating from college in a year with a degree in engineering. I have no idea what I should do next. I am torn between getting a job right away or going on to graduate school. My opinion seems to change daily. Can you give me some tips as to how I should handle this situation?

A. With this, as with all decisions that you face as a soul in a human body, you have freedom of choice as to what and when you want to experience things. That said, let’s analyze the situation. You have all sorts of theoretical experience and very little practical knowledge. You aren’t even sure which aspects of your chosen field interest you enough to keep you engrossed for the next decade or two.

We suggest that you consider getting a summer job within your field and learning as much about it as you can. Then you will be able to decide whether you want to take additional education right away or keep working, exploring, deciding—and possibly getting an employer to pay for the next degree.

The reason your opinion changes so easily is that you are bouncing back and forth between listening to what others say is right for you and feeling what you imagine is right for yourself. Do not give away to others the power of your freedom of choice. These decisions are all part of the lessons you came into a physical body to experience.

Remember, nothing is truly right or wrong. All experiences are lessons from which we learn so that we do not have to repeat them in the future.

Fear, the harbinger of disaster

Q. Masters, I try my hardest to make a success of everything that I do, and right now that is the stock market. Whatever I do, though, has met with total and absolute disaster. I fear that I will lose all of my money. Can you give me an idea what it is that I am doing wrong? Is there some pattern of activity that will ensure my habitual success?

A. The very tenor of your question gives you the gist of your problem: fear! Whenever you interject fear into any scenario, you have already started the slide into failure. All of your thoughts create an energy pathway that your actions follow.  When you program for failure, you achieve that end.

Ask yourself why you started into this field in the first place when you did not have faith in your own abilities and didn’t have a plan or pattern that you observed to be productive. Were you convinced that it would be a fast and easy way to get rich? Nothing is further from the truth when you have no idea what you need to do.

We cannot give you a “pattern” because each set of situations has different solutions. In a place like the stock, bond, or futures markets there are literally thousands of variables that generate the ups and downs each day. Each one of those variables is connected to one or more souls, and each soul has its own freedom of choice to make and change its decisions.

The only way to be successful in the market all the time is to have “dumb luck” or to be enlightened enough to “feel” the trend (pathway) of the energy surrounding each offering. When you are sensitive to energy, instead of spending time “thinking” about what might happen, you meditate on which way the energy is pointing and go with the flow.

This principle of feeling versus thinking can be applied to every activity in your life. Fear arises when you want to control something but realize that, in fact, control is an illusion and you have none. Spend your time learning to sense energy and then just ride it to its destination.

A rose by any other name

Greetings, fellow souls. During channeling sessions Toni has been asked a number of basic questions about us. At the beginning of our relationship concerning this web log, we defined certain terms and principles so that all might understand us. (See: Glossary) We have also from time to time talked on Universal laws governing the non-physical world.

To summarize again, all souls—i.e., the fundamental energy contained within each and every being—originated and broke off from a single Source. For this reason, no soul is any more important than, better than, or less than, any other being. We do, however, use different titles so that we may convey the extent of conscious wisdom that a soul has attained. This we refer to as Mastership, as in the act of mastering a particular skill. This does not imply that those who have achieved enlightenment through mastery are any better than any other. It simply means that they have the wisdom with which they may now help others to better see, learn, and understand themselves, and so attain enlightenment.

Titles are very important upon your planet to give you direction. You label everything to save time. You have doctors, dentists, lawyers, teachers, government officials, etc. If you did not have labels you would spend precious time, say, talking to a teacher before you learned she was not the dentist that you needed for your abscessed tooth. We choose to have ourselves referred to as Masters of the Spirit World since we are non-physical, enlightened beings who wish to offer our services to your society in any way that is meaningful to you.

Have a fantastic week filled with our love, light, and laughter.
